So why is a guy with a "C level position in a company with just under a billion in top line" glued to a computer monitor all day posting on forums? You're getting paid to work, not wait. So which company are you ripping off?

This isn't something you accomplish by sitting at your desk during lunch. There are large project based initiatives that you assign tasks to, meet to discuss and adjust as necessary while seeing periodical updates.
