I make no excuses for Trump, I just expect results.

The Left classically blames everyone but themselves. I stand ready to hold Republicans accountable and criticize them if needed. Will you ever find a Democrat willing to do the same to their own party publicly? We have a clear division here between Excuse Makers/Blame spreaders and those who demand results and are ready to hold people accountable.

It really boils down to this in its purest essence, Democrats never demand accountability or results among themselves.

Are you so oblivious that you still believe everyone's got to be labelled into two camps and your task is to demonize the other camp ? Sure, we see this on P&R all the time, hell, I've often been labelled a Democrat ( absurd, I'm Canadian ), or a leftist ( doesn't fit either but that doesn't stop people from doing so ), or any number of pointless labels. The "Left" you are rambling about mostly doesn't exist AT ALL in the US. It's your attempt to simplify a complex world so you can try to understand it. Actually if you objectively look at Obama's record, he fulfilled approximately 60% of the items he proposed (promised). He attempted to fulfill about 90% but Congress blocked him on a number of items.

After Obama steps out of office it will be interesting to see an accounting of what Obama promised versus what he delivered.

This is nonsensical response. You come across an an uninformed (I forgive you for being Canadian and uninformed) pseudo-intellectual. We actually have party labels here in America where people are registered Republican or Democrat. Regardless of whatever perceived complexities that you site I ask you to revisit my post and ask yourself this: Are registered Democrats as demanding for accountability among their own as registered Republicans?

Just wait until the real left takes over Mexico in the next presidential election spurred on anti-Yankee sentiment and they'll see a real refugee crisis when that economy collapses in a decade or so.

Meh, I see way too many pushovers in the left's ranks. They never catch up to the rights' strategies and haven't realized that compromise is not a working strategy anymore (as sad as that is). It's all a sport now and they get their ass handed to them too often. If they have to dumb down the rhetoric and get dirty to appeal to the mob they should be willing to do so or continue on losing.

Who cares if U.S. citizens have to pay for the wall. Having millions of people here illegally getting welfare, schooling for their children and healthcare as well as clogging the prison system is getting very expensive.

We pay either way, with or without the wall. Just as a token gesture I am in favor of the wall.
