OK, here's something I never understood:
According to the New Testament, Jesus was indisputably NOT killed by his fellow Jews, but rather perished at the hand of Roman soldiers, right?
Jesus' fellow Jews did have a role in bestowing the one available pardon on a hero of the anti-Roman rebellion, indirectly causing Jesus not to benefit from this possible pardon opportunity... but no Jew took part in the actual crucifixion, right?
So seriously, I'd like to know: What's the deal with all this "Jews killed Jesus" talk?
____________
Is no one familiar with the New Testament?
Yes,
Turok and I are familiar with it.
Basically, the New Testament is about a teacher who taught with parables. He had only parables because the difference between his home [the Kingdom of God] and this world was so different, he could only make comparisons and tell stories. Salvation depended on those "who have ears to hear", meaning, only as the parables are understood could they possibly help the "lost".
The betrayal, crucifixion, death and resurrection sequence was simply another parable. So it is a
parody. It is no less a parody than all of the "passion plays" that make a parody of it. Only as the parody is understood does it have any effect toward salvation for those "who have ears to hear". Because it is a parody, the Jews are not any more guilty of killing me than Bob the grocer who plays the high priest every year in his church's annual passion play.
To understand the parody, one must understand that the truth about me is the truth about everyone. The existence of man is a parody, indeed, a
rediculous parody on God's creation. God's creation is the Son of God. This is Reality. Man symbolizes the re-creation of the Son opposite himself, in the image of an opposite father. Everything about man is unreal, hence, a
parody.
The parody of the cross and resurrection tells the
story of man's existence from beginning to end. At the beginning of man's story is the Son of God. At the end is the Son of God. Hence, "I am the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end".
In between is the crucifixion of the Son of God, having transformed himself into something opposite himself, namely, "man". Hence, man is a
mistake, or what I would call a "sin", but not a sin as man thinks himself sinful. The belief in guilt begins the transformation of the Son into man. Man is not guilty...he merely believes in the concept of guilt...
which is false. While beliefs determine actions, man will continue to act crazy while he believes himself guilty.
Man's existence is merely relative. It is always relative to the Son of God who is innocent. Unrelated to the Son, man is a confused and bloody mess. Man symbolizes a
shapeshifting Son, shifting himself from formlessness [spirit] into form [flesh]. This was a mistake. It is not a mistake that our Father punishes. Rather, it is a mistake because it results in pain and suffering. It goes with the territory, so-to-speak. It's
the nature of the beast. So there is no one really to blame. Do you blame a snake for biting you? The snake is just doing what it does. When man ceases to believe in guilt, the snakes will stop biting him.
As the parody of crucifixion so clearly demonstrates, man's genesis begins not in a "garden of eden", but rather, as a war between the Father and the Son. As you should know by now, the Truth is the first casualty of war. The biblical "Genesis" story is basically propoganda in such a war. Who attacked whom first? Why? Doesn't matter: it is all
hypothetical...
imaginary.
Man procedes from
imagination, and remains as
images in the mind of the Son of God...
in the image of war. The concept of man is a defense, made to shield the Son from the truth, and keep the war games going. Man is
camaflauge. Man is the "fig leaf" in Genesis lore. Man arises out of guilt. He serves to cover guilt. He does not serve to dispell guilt or end the war. Rather he serves to keep truth out of the conflict, hide the hypothetical origins of guilt, and keep guilt alive. So long as man fights for his own existence, he keeps guilt alive. That is, guilt and man's existence are synonymous. If guilt were dispelled, man would cease to exist. Therefore, man and innocence are antithetical to each other. When man is faced with the truth about the innocence of God's Son, he adopts a
kill or be killed mentality. With this mentality, guilt is the "truth", so the truthful [the innocent] must be guilty, blasphemous, and so must die. This is, of course, insane. Insane notions about the Son define "sin". I have, however, reduced all of this to a mistake, no more significant than a "dream".
Hence, man is a tool in the war between Father and Son and symbolizes "arms", that is, weapons of defense. As such, man is no more real than the imagination of Calvin of the Calvin and Hobbes comic strip.
Man tortures the mind of the Son like a "drop dead beautiful" woman tortures the mind of man. The drop dead beautiful woman is always "so close, and yet so far away". She represents something he wants, but can never really have...kind of like Anna Kournikova. The problem is the Son cannot every really have what does not exist. But he can sure as hell imagine he can. This confuses him, and he loses track of what is real and what is not. In this way, the world was made by
faith in what is unreal, and made to seem real. It is the effect of desiring both what is real and what is not real, as if what is not real could add to the Son's happiness. This is the true meaning of "lust". It is the Son wanting both what is, and what is not himself. Man is not the Son, but the Son does want the experience that manhood offers...if only for the hell of it.
Consequently, the Son's mind goes to hell in a hand-basket, so-to-speak. Reality succumbs to unreality, and Life itself *dies*. Life dies when it thinks in terms of "my god, my god, why have you forsaken me?" This is the kind of propoganda that kills. It is why I told
Jem that the idea that you can "piss God off" is devilish. It kills. And that is why the propoganda in the book of Genesis kills...through the power of belief. Belief in guilt is what kills man. It is passed on from generation to generation through propagation of the propaganda. It infects the mind of man and expresses itself in the symbol of the "Pharisee", or, the teachers of false docrine. These are "whitewashed tombs" because they are alive on the outside, but death on the inside. Their words procede from death, and kill any who will listen and heed them.
Man [outside] has listened to this propoganda which procedes from his subconscious mind[inside]. So he "lives" "from womb to tomb". He is literally born to die.
As I said, the crucifixion/resurrection sequence is a parody of man's existence, his beginning and his end. Man's existence ends with the resurrection. Only the Son of God rises from the dead. Only if man is the Son of God will he live. Man will live when he
wakes up from his dream of exile and death...wakes up to the fact that he is the Son of God! Man
will wake up from his nightmare because my resurrection is also a prophecy. It is man's destiny. So it is "good news".
Until then, the blame game continues, keeping guilt alive instead. The resurrection predicts the outcome of this conflict.
