US sanctions backfired. Whou would have expected?... :-)

Apple is nothing but a good design studio and marketing machine. Nothing else, other than their new CPUs. They are not a tech company by any means other than writing their own OS. None of the hardware components are made in house other than the CPU. But that's not much different for Google or Samsung or LG phones.

Well, because they already stole everything there is. Not just from Apple but Qualcom, Corning, Samsung, Hynix, Siemens,... Nobody steals more than the Chinese.

Have you? Chinese made an implicit deal with their government. Certain personal freedoms for protection and improvements in average living standards. I thought that is crystal clear, for decades already.

Just heard some rumors :China going to ban Apple iPhone smartphones at government and other security sensitive workplaces... Some workers have confirmed that they recently got such orders...
The German news outlet Der Spiegel writes that the Apple stock yesterday fell more than 3.5% b/c of these news... I myself haven't verified this yet...
