US ranks behind Rwanda, Belarus, Azerbaijan in creating new business - World Bank

"btw forget other countries because we don't live there. "

I agree completely. We have to work where we are. It's easy enough to start a small business so just do it, except of course in banking and casinos.
There is a solution for all the whiners here, run for city counsel or county commissioner and work to fix the problem at its source. Not as much fun as bitching and moaning though.

cmon dude, you know that wasn't what i meant.

I hear it all the time from buddies in the business, talking about how easy it is for people to get into the construction business and driving prices down, how new guys don't carry insurance and on and on. Bitching and moaning is all it is, just like here, except they're bitching about not enough regulations. Folks it is easy enough to start a small business in most places in America, it is very competitive out there in most areas you'll look at. Who here has tried to start a small business but failed because of the paper work...? Exactly my point.
If some dude in Belarus can start a business easier, that does not affect you or the American market in any way. It does not matter, he's not taking any business from Americans.

No wonder you live in a camper. NO ONE in their right mind wants MORE regulations as a business owner. Are you using drugs by chance??

You know nothing about business and your reading comprehension skills are severely lacking. I was talking about what I hear from other contractors and if you read trade publications it is widespread among professionals in the field to want a level playing field when bidding a job. But of course you don't read do you.
And yes most everyone in business who is following the rules by having insurance and license wants enforcement of the regulations. Most all estabilished contractors in Texas are for more regulations requiring insurance and licensing. You're stupid and ignorant and a know it all. Not a good way to be man.

Leap have you read the link that this thread is about. Did you read any about how the rankings were made. Did you read on how they were made for America and compared them to the top ranked country New Zealand to see what the difference is.
Of course not, you're trolling. I am in disagreement with Tao and Piggy on the business environment for small business but the discussion has been civil on all sides, except for you. So shut up.

Once again, you make comments about others reading comprehension, yet your grammar is again around the sixth grade level. And btw, more regulations DO NOT level the playing field!!!!!! Wake up and smell the shingles! No wonder you guys can't make any money! you're too busy demanding regulation enforcement vs creative thinking, and finding a niche in and around what's going on. Last, I don't make a practice of reading trade publications.

Well duhh, that's a surprise. NOT

It's funny a guy who's done nothing but collect a government check his whole life giving out business advise...priceless.

Lol! Typical liberal stunt. I called you out, you got your lunch eaten, and you use typical libtard tactics so you can run away. Yep, it's a broken record at this point. Best thing is knowing I'll always be able to hire guys like you for cheap as you demand regulation enforcement vs finding a niche in and around the issue that you could exploit. Maybe if you'd wake up and smell the shingles lol, you'd be a happier camper. More lol!

Did you answer my question on how exactly how the study is "flawed"?

I think it's comical how you keep trying to compare a nickel and dime contractor "business" (Your office being in a camper or the front seat of your pickup truck) with real business start up costs and regulations. Companies with buildings permanent employees benefits EPA, and OSHA regulations etc etc etc to deal with.

What's a roofer need, a cell phone and a business license?
