US race statistics

From afar it looks like the US police are out of control and getting away with murder. This probably only applies to a small minority but the events of Charlotteville can't be ignored.
The answer is surely to require a supervisory board of mixed races to be set up for every force. Any suspicions of racial bias by the police is carefully looked into.

First of all Trump never proposed sending American citizens home to Africa.
Trump is the law and order candidate. These riots are only helping his poll numbers in key battleground states.
Secondly, the city is Charlotte not Charlotteville. Charlotteville is located in Virginia not North Carolina. Ignorance on basic underlying facts is a problematic when attempting to engage in a discussion.
The U.S. police are not "out of control and getting away with murder". The problem here is the BLM activists who are not focused on peaceful protests, but on violent protests and looting. The cure for this is obvious -- in Charlotte after National Guard troops were deployed on the third night with M-16s and live ammo along with plenty of "don't F with us" attitude - the violence and looting stopped. I support peaceful protests, however violent protests that destroy a city need to be put down with an immediate application of military force.
I believe requiring all police to wear body cameras will quickly demonstrate that police are in the right over 97% of the time, and will also help weed out any bad cops on the force who abuse their authority.

People in the UK like to demonize whites in the US for their 'racism', but race relations in the UK are not any better.
Before you talk about 'solutions' you need to have a problem...or invent one.
There is a vast cultural difference between black and white America, just as there is a vast cultural difference between whites and blacks in the UK. It's cute, but common place to quote statistics to show that, but it is another thing completely to attribute causation and a very, very other thing to prescribe 'solutions'.
Does the racial makeup of Parliament represent the racial make-up of the population it is supposed to represent?

Every time I see these kinds of events made into media circuses on TV I am struck by how often the local police chiefs in the US are black, and am struck by the racial mix of US police.
I don't see the same thing in the UK.

I'm from the uk and you are correct the uk is extremely divided racially.
OK my mistake about the place name.
Trump has taken such a firm line over muslims emigrating to the States, Mexicans entering illegally it would only be another step backward in his usual biased attitude.
Cops in the UK sometimes wear helmets fitted with cameras. Granted that the UK police have gained an unworthy reputation in recent years for shooting before last resort sometimes. Bad training I guess.
