to be honest i find most people never argue against my libertarian standpoints.. yet most people i know are voting for one or the other of these loons.. ... its a terrible thing.. i honestly think it was our forefathers that were ultimately individualists and libertarian free marketeers, yet over time this has happened.. dependents voting for more income from the governement, people ok with 40% tax on income.. free market econnomists like von mises.. it really sickens me to be honest... the nazi's said that they were defending their country by invading others..
My values actually lean towards Libertarian. But Gary Johnson is not presidential material. He looked insecure when I saw him being interviewed and he did not know what Aleppo was. No candidate knows everything about all the issues....but Aleppo has been on the news every night for about 2 years. But in all fairness, the media does not cover him very well. The liberal media assists Hillary and bashes Trump at every opportunity. The average person does not even know who Gary Johnson and Jill Stein are.
Jill Stein is forgettable. But, Gary Johnson should have been included in the debates. He has 10 percent of the vote. The Federal Election Committee (run by Dems and Repubs) used to have a 10% standard for being included, but then they raised it to 15%. I am confident they did it because of the rising interest in the Libertarian Party.
I never studied Von Mise in college but I have read a few things about him since I graduated. He seems like a good guy I would have enjoyed drinking a beer with. Is it the University of Alabama that has a Business School modeled after his values?

The job of media is not to inform, but to misinform: Divert public attention from important issues and changes decided by the political and economic elites, by the technique of flood or continuous flood of distractions and insignificant information......Noam Chomsky

This is what the media was condemned for doing during the Nazi years and during the USSR. And now it is being done to us by a liberal media that pampers and condones Hillary because she has already been chosen by the elitists to be the next president. 91 % of the media coverage is anti-Trump and you rarely hear anything negative about Hillary. And you hear nothing about Jill Stein or Gary Johnson, even though Johnson is polling 10 percent.

I remember seeing a quote from Thomas Jefferson or Ben Franklin that said something along the lines of our country failing when people think it is a right to receive money from the govt and not the right to work for it....I don't have time to research it.
But...the Founding Fathers were the greatest group of men our country has ever created. Their thoughts were original and the idea of self determination didn't exist anywhere else in the world at the time. They were a unique bunch of guys and it's been downhill ever sense.
