Of course it is possible. But before returning to Islam I was agnostic and I did my own researches on this religion..
Just for your info when I give an idea, I always look at the internet and only when many sources coincide then I would post it... This is our chance today. All the knowledge of the world can be found on the internet. you cannot cheat anymore by finding just one source and say this is the truth..
For instance just type Islam in spain on google.. all the links I posted are there. And I found none that said that arab raped killed and colinised violently.. So I think that I am objective All the more that I don't post words said by a muslim but usually by a western historian, scientist or politician. This is my way to say. hey look don't say I posted this because I am muslim the guy that wrote it is not even muslim.

But when quoting, I usually try to refer to my own knowledge what I learned at university where my teachers were not always very muslim friendly but revealed facts and also logic..
You see, in the previous link you have something I found on the BBC.. Contrary to babak's historian words, I found this source on a web source that I don't think is muslim oriented it is an honorable british institution and they do not mention raping or violent colonisation..
but when you will speak to mister average man he will say Arabs were savage and they killed and raped. They cannot believe that on the contrary if this religion was and is still very successful it is because it was all the contrary..
French tried to convert many people in algeria yet it is still today a 99% muslim country. Why, because they behaved badly. How will you love the culture and embrace his religion if he treats you as shit???? why

Don't be so defensive. Again: Is it not a platform in the Islamic "code," if you will, to take over the world, at the very least replacing all other forms of religion with Islam?
