Thanks dozu888 for the suggestion.

What stocks do you recommend buying and holding ?

Congrats on a great year so far! We will check back in on your performance once the next bear market starts.

It's not like a bull market has been raging this year. Sure Faangs have been doing much better - congrats to OP, I avoided those and it looks like a costly mistake.

QQQ XLK FAAMG is fine.

You don't hear people talking about the Fed model nowadays, because that will just make it too obvious.

SP is forward yielding twice the 10-year, but the model calls for par! which means SP should be close to 6000 now.

sure you can argue that rates are going up.. so how about 5% forward yield? 20 P/E? forward earning is $170... so we call it 3400 as fair value? so why is it only 2800 today?

screaming buy... but people just are too blind and deaf.

zdreg,

Please share an example how you trade the gap and make loot?

Thanks
it is for High Frequency Traders who are automated and can trade spikes in stocks. I am not a HFT.
when there is a gap they trade in the opposite direction.

You seem to be relying very heavily on the FED model being correct....

My dad bought a shit load of mutual fund shares in the early 80's and he's still holding them. Unbelievable patience and discipline...he is a wealthy man. I don't know how he's held through four or five bear market crashes, but his strategy has worked very well. Is this the strategy that some of you are planning on doing? Just curious if any of you have an exit plan so you don't get caught being a "bag holder".
