No chance. IMHO. I dont think anyone is willing to step out and make that call, regardless whether it is deserved or not. However, this USD buying we've been seeing shows that even though the US is in trouble it is still the best option for global investment... and then theres Greece...

According to that story, under the "adverse scenario" the US would lose its AAA in 2013 which is a wee bit different then losing it this month, as your initial post predicted.
