Well, I've been doing a lot of research on this company. They are the only ones that I know of that will open a US trading account for Canadians.

They used to be a branch office of Terra Nova, and now they are with Maximum Financial Group. Their clearing house is Penson Financial Services.
- Fees are $9.99 for 500+ shares plus ECN charges
- RealTick Pro Plus is $250 unless you do 50 tickets a month, then fees are waived
The customer service as I have found out is great. They pride themselves on being very personable and they are also in some of the IRC channels for support. I have asked many people about them, and I haven't heard anything bad about them. They use RT and will even hook you up for a few days of demo with the RT software so that you can trade in demo mode real time.
