Nothing against the current mod and Perhaps this forum is more hands off than it used to be (which is a good thing) but I wouldn't count on previous precedent being deviated from if the complain button was used.

Myself I'm not upset that our boy can use the term redneck or other denigrations, I just think I should be allowed the same deference and I know that ain't happening.

Which IF true, would indicate it's time for a Feedback thread or a PM to Baron for some clarification on what our new standards are here. Magna hasn't been big on specifics in the past. I've always assumed so he can make up the rules as he goes.

It's no secret Magna has had this girly man vision for years of everyone at ET siting around holding hands and singing Kumbaya. If Baron is going to let him push it in that direction it's certainly his prerogative. But it would be nice to know what the new rules are so I and others don't have to put up with threats of being banned/restricted every few days.
 
I think I'm the only one who has used the N.. word here lately. Nobody has said anything to me about using it. I apologized to Buck because I decided I was a little harsh. I don't thing redneck is in the same league as that word but I don't know what derogatory word for whites would be.

honky, cracker, and whitey are all racially derogatory and I do not use them.

As far as the N word goes, I have never hit the complain button over it, so no worries.

I think PT is jerking your chain a bit there Luke. Pspr is still here. If Magna and Baron wanted this kind banter gone, then they would close this forum. They don't.

Wiki seems to disagree with you.

Redneck is a derogatory slang term used in reference to poor, uneducated white farmers, especially from the southern United States. It is similar in meaning to cracker.
