Urgent Message From Rennick

Open mouth, insert foot.

The "ball's calls" are at precise times each day - 9:40AM and 1:05PM. The direction is from those times specifically. It's useless if you have to make judgements like "OK, the ball says short....I'm gonna wait two hours for the ES to rocket up 10 pts, and then go short". How hysterical!

The "ball" just plain got it wrong twice today (it happens). To be somewhat correct, at the very least it should have said directionless. To be really correct, it should have said to go short at 9:40, and go long at 1:05.

I like you sandy, so I won't attack. The "Ball" nailed the morning, and the afternoon was a push, and remains unfulfilled. The"ball" has a good record of unfufilled calls being proved correct the next morning.

As for Joab, it sounds like you just didn't trade it right. I post the calls here out in the open so everyone can judge for themselves.any one paying attention would see that your assertion doesnt square with reality. Go back over the last 20 calls I posted here and give us an honest assessment. I'm guessing but it is over 70% accurate on what I've posted.

OK I did. And your ball is 50% at best. This thread is a joke, and ET is a joke for allowing this crap in the "trading" forum.

7th post?

"Lighten up Francis".

This is a very humorous thread. Read from the beginning and enjoy. It's not all "business" you know?

:)

The balls rules are ...... AMBIGUOUS

His rules are to enter immediately upon signal or wait for range break out or wait till the perfect high/low.

He then says that he uses a 15% or 10% stop (you decide).

The indexs are always volatile and no matter what call you make UP/ Down or neutral combined with those ambiguous rules you can easily claim 70% success.

I tried it for fun but like I said before the "ball" is probably no better then any good trader with 5 plus more years experience and certainly nothing to be wasting another $29 on.

Rennick, If you've found away to trade it , well all the power to you but to follow it verbatim you will be lucky to break even after commish.

I've done a through analysis of The Ball over the years, and as Rennick stated, it has over a 70% win-rate on the general direction of a call, in the cases where the call is unfillfied the call will generally play-out the next day, and it's weak spot is when the Fed makes an announcement or when anyone else from the gummint gets on the tele and starts mouthing-off.

As somone else stated, you would have to filter the Ball's directional calls with your own medium for entering/exiting a trade, and the vehicles which you trade would impact your time-frame and the leverage you use when making a trade (Option trades aren't going to have the same risk management parameters as Futures trades, nor will they use the same time horizion.).

As for the guy who said this thread is a joke, I don't remember anyone inviting him to the party, and he is free to leave both it and ET anytime he wants to.

Later,

JJ

P.S. I see everyone else thinks highly of Mr. Roshawn as well ... :D

With all due respect, and I do enjoy your thread considerably, I have a hard time understanding how the "ball" "nailed" this morning with a call for "strong" market action.

Looking at the YM, it closed at 9:40 (the time of the morning call) at 12047. It proceeded to quickly drop -70 pts. from that time to 11977. The highest it ever got this morning was 12071 (+24 pts.), and if you held until the next call to go short at 1:05, you'd have been -18 pts from the morning's call. I'm not sure how that's considered "nailing it".

This afternoon the YM rose to 12115 from the 1:05 call to short at 12029 (-86 pts.) It has pulled back significantly since then, but hasn't yet reached the entry price at 1:05. If the idea is to hold all the way until the next call tomorrow morning, at 9:40, then I suppose the jury's still out.

As I am not a subscriber to the "ball" (although I've gone through his website thoroughly), perhaps I don't understand how to use the ball's calls properly. Is one to wait for the market to go 70 or 80 pts against the direction prescribed by the ball before taking an entry in the direction of the call?

Care to itemize your search. Post the date, call, and your opinion of the result of the last 20 calls I posted here. I have a chart for each day for full transparency. Look forward to your reply...jackass.
