I learned just now that there was a special Market Update issued at 1:45 pm today. After the initial NEUTRAL call was issued I turned off my trading computer as I thought I was finished for the day. The special call changed to NEGATIVE calling for WEAK Market action moving into the close. The dow was down about 80 points when it was issued.

Yeah, SissyP is gone, and we're all happy, but that still doesn't detract from the fact that it's a better idea to learn how to read the market, rather than wait for someone to tell you what to do.

Yesterdays final 2 hour selloff was from panic selling. Looks like sanity has returned.

Not so fast stock. The mkt has been open for all of 35 minutes and its "seems really strong". Breadth has not been great, the new hi/lo list is ugly, and there is no volume. We'll see at the close. Amateurs own the open, not the close.
