Urgent Message From Rennick

. . .not sure how you get +10 points on a correct neutral call.

Or why a 56% win/loss ratio can't be included as a stat in many, many, many successful trading systems.

Actually, it's +20 (fixed in the post). The Dow gained 20 points after his call. I added that info to address the issue you raised in your earlier post, paysense.

TUES. 8/26 9:45 am dow -10

The mighty "Ball" remains NEUTRAL calling for FLAT Market action this morning. Expect the Averages to roughly maintain current levels until at least high noon.

Time to hit the beach, trading screen shutting down.

TUES. 8/25 1:13 pm dow +10

After another nailing of a morning call, the mighty "Ball" remains NEUTRAL calling for further FLAT Market action this afternoon.

So turn off your screens and get out there and enjoy this day people, we are all living history. As for me, I'm about to soak up the warm waters of the Gulf, before Gustav lays waste.

Good job on breaking down the calls. Now fill in the old ones....OR YOU'RE FIRED!

The official tally according to your count is now 9 correct 7 wrong
My count is 10 correct 6 wrong*

*3 of those were fulfilled the next morning and from a traders perspective were great calls.

Rack em up Beansie, again good job on the new format. Your neck is still on the chopping block until you fill in the old calls.

OK, so actually you are now counting "opportunity lost" if one went long instead of neutral. What about had they gone short?

Do one or the other - tally each right/wrong LONG, SHORT and NEUTRAL (<=0.5%)

or have "Renny" post all entries an exits using 1 YM contract. That will allow for his "unfulfilled" calls to bank actual points - and ambiguous calls to get an actual number associated with it.

CAVEAT: WM needs to commit to the second method (which I am not sure he is willing to do hence, we'll follow his "Quest").

PS "Renny": if you profited with your recent QQQ close, are you gonna post it on the other thread? Stay away from the storms!

Alright I need a LOT of practice, lol.

Other points to consider: Dow points aren't exactly correlated with YM points.

If we are going by set "open" and "close" (position) times - when you get a WIDE range, most traders get stopped. . .but this is YOUR project :( .

Also, YM close is 4:15 not 4 - :D :D :D :D.
