I was long sgxnk contracts yesterday, but coudn't close the positions because of a family emergency. Could I go hedge against NKD trading on globex/
have never traded it and don't know too much abt it.

how many nkd do I sell for every long position of sgxnk?

contract details are here, but am nervous abt this and could use some help

NIY is the contract you want.
Its equal.


Not sure if they settle identically. If they do, then you're good. But you have to wait 3 months..

or you can just wait til Sunday night.

So for every contract long on sgcnk, I sell one niy.
and monday, when sgx opens, close both positions.

dont have to worry abt how they settle.

More...

as in PM, they don't ever trade simultaneously. i recommend you close the sgxnk at end of japanese session, and close niy a few hrs after. its late at night though, beware.

better than the open, since the open is very wild...
