Uptick rule

Alright guys. I guess we're just going to have to agree to disagree. This discussion isn't really going anywhere. Thanks for the interesting debate!

I like how the market is up acouple weeks and everyone forgets about the uptick rule. Not a big concern as it was 10 days ago:D

I'd like to see the CME make regular trading hour circuit breakers (aka trading band limits) applicable for both up and down markets. Currently regular trading hours trading band limits apply to downside only. Overnight is applicable to both up and down, but with a trading band only half size of the regular trading hours trading band.

Uptick rule supporters fear not.. Regulators with all their wisdom in all their morphed apparitions, have your back! They're existence depends on your prosperity.

am i getting you correctly? do you want to limit volatility? i thought all traders loved volatility
