Easier just being a trader
Hello hilmy83,Truckers make money, with 100% success rate!
Hello hilmy83,
It is best to be a trucker and a day trader.
Hello Overnight,That would be distracted driving. Bad juju.
Hence the crazy wealth gap between the haves and have-nots (not that I'm pro union). But the in-your-face greed factor among the CEO bonus has really stained the entire socioeconomic fabric IMO.easy to believe when you consider the CEO made $19 million in 2022.
UPS CEO’s total compensation amounted to $19 million last year.

A very tough job especially if you have a family with kids.I was a trucker for 16 years. I'll tell you why..
About 50% of those who get a CDL and secure an over-the-road
position will QUIT within 9 months. Another 20% will quit as
soon as they experience how out right frustrating and DANGEROUS
it is to drive during the WINTER MONTHS.
The trucking industry has always been heavily short drivers, and
hence why some Companies will try to convince experienced
drivers with $5000 to $10,000 sign on bonuses.
Recruiters earn anywhere from $2000 to $5000 per driver,
IF they can get them to a Company Orientation.
Even experienced truckers who like the job get burnt out
and usually bounce from Job to Job trying to find the right fit.
Most people do not have the mentality it takes to work
65 to 70 hours every week with only 2 days off after 2 to 3 weeks on the road.
Not to mention the STRESS is insane. My BP is now down to 155/90
with meds, but when I was on the road I was a driving heart-attack
waiting to happen.
In LA, many of us commute >50 miles each way to work. I did that for years, but by choice, because I love to live in OC.The police can’t afford anything, I know officers commuting 50 miles each way in LA.
Do you find Elon's wealth offensive? It still remains, the average individual income in the US is $57k/year. A UPS driver's is $170k, it requires no college degree and no particular skills other than drive a delivery truck and lift occasionally heavy packages. That pay package includes a Cadillac healthcare plan.
As someone quickly pointed out, the CEO at UPS made $19M last year, which means that everyone at the top 2 layers (C levels and Senior VP) made at least $3M each.
Personally, what I find most offensive is the exorbitant cost of sending a package via UPS. Now I know why.
Lol, you think driving for UPS for $170k per year is rough? you should check out strawberry picking or slaughterhouses.. It's absolutely ridiculous to believe a UPS driver is worth that much and the rest of the world thinks so as well because nowhere else in the world are they paid that much.Do you find Elon's wealth offensive?
I had a retail business that dealt heavily with UPS (a small chain of stores similar to what are now called UPS Stores, back than Mailbox Etc) and know first hand what my UPS guys did. And it ain't easy at all.
Any job taking place on America's roads are rough way to earn a living.
