Updated Obama scoundrel list...

Quote from bigdavediode:

Since you have such contempt and indifference for recognizing soldier's lives I can see why you haven't volunteered to go to Iraq.

I've had two Canadian acquaintances volunteer to go to Afghanistan recently -- but then they have more character than you do.
Please... I've exhausted all of my contempt on you...

McCain on his good buddy Charlie Keating:

"Charlie Keating, his family and associates donated over $100,000 for my first campaign, and for each of the two that followed. That was a hell of a lot of money in those days.... Supporters like Charlie were not easy to come by for a first-time candidate, and I made damn sure that he knew how much I appreciated his support.

More important, I became friends with Charlie, his family, and many of the top executives and employees of his company. "
Wow - you certainly are desperate... (yawn)

With all your comments here you have done a good job of showing that McCain has done things as bad as Obama.

I've made it abundantly clear what type of Federal government I favor.

Military cuts of 25%. No troops in Iraq, Afghanistan or Pakistan. (Obama favors war in 2 of the 3). If Islamo-fascism becomes some sort of imperative threat then use nukes. That's why we have them. I could kill millions and not lose a moments sleep.

No bailouts for ANYONE.

No foreign aid other than disaster relief.

Privatization of many key departments including the FAA, and FDA.

The virtual elimination of Federal departments of agriculture, transportation and education.

The immediate firing of 500,000 Federal workers.

Huge cuts in NIH funding.

No welfare, aid to dependant children, food stamps or subsidized dick. Let the states do it.

Since I believe the Federal government is just 1000 or so days from FAILING, i.e. coordinated currency devaluation with the other G8 losers (Japan will be the first to bite the dust)-my prognosis of government is the way others view GM and F. Shrink now or die later. The only hope of survival? Inflation like we can't imagine.

Quote from bigdavediode:

Well I consider $261 billion in interest per year crippling, but okay.

Well as a "leftist" I agree that it's quite possible now that the debt won't be paid down before interest rates rise drastically again.

By the way, if I'm a "leftist" who is obviously being realistic that there won't be any balanced budget in the near future, who opposes bailouts, and who opposes nation building -- what are you?

And you didn't comment on McCain's plan to balance the budget in one term. Obviously you have a brain and think that's stupid and just gross pandering.

Another of McCain's problem is Palin.
Note her comments during a softball interview on FoxNews:
Q: One of the things you talked about last night was the flexibility the vice president has --

PALIN: Yeah.

Q: --Uh. What did you mean by that?

PALIN: Uh. That thankfully our founders were wise enough to say we have this position and it's constitutional -- vice president will be able to be not only the position flexible, but it's gonna be those other duties as assigned by the president. A simple thing."

Or during the Katie interview when asked to name a Supreme Court Decision other than Roe V Wade she disagreed with:

"Well, let's see. There's -- of course -- in the great history of America rulings there have been rulings." --Sarah Palin, unable to name a Supreme Court decision she disagreed with other than Roe vs. Wade, interview with Katie Couric, CBS News, Oct. 1, 2008

babbling idiot.

"as bad as Obama?" When did Obama undergo a congressional ethics investigation?

Palin on the clean campaign:

""But no, in John McCain’s mission here, in taking the high road, as you’re going to see too with a lot of unfair shots he has taken in this campaign with some of his opponents’ supporters, McCain and I taking the high road, being positive."

THis is just funny considering the topic of this thread which is the smears McCain, Drudge and Foxy News are doing

Keating 5 , 4 democrats, 1 republican.......The dems only agreed to ethics hearings as long as it was not all Democrats on the stand....so the committee agreed to put McCain up there as a compromise

LOL. Clearly that's not true, but if that was true then McCain should be very, very angry at his "friends."
