Up 8,000% for the week

I've traded professionally for over 20 years. I can give you some metrics. Best % gain in a three month period: 1,300%. I spent three months building TBond flies and was pinned on LTD. $65K in premium to $900K. That's not a credible figure because that was the eventual debit held to expiration, but I'd legged-into those positions.

I am not blowing myself here. I am stating that it will NEVER be reproduced by me and I know a fuck of a lot more now then I did in 1997. With five days to exp I was up like $80K. Dentist money (for the duration). US dropped a buck and a half and we literally pinned to the body strike. Not a 32nd off... Expired at '00. I was assigned on some calls and lol the market dropped another 16/32 the following Monday.

COMS/PALM RAES arbitrage: a pure arb over months averaging a gain of $12.7 per contract on 430K contracts. All were BTOs, so essentially an infinite return on capital.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to have made 80x his initial $5K stake in GS, even if he had a time machine and the use of vol-at-trade figures and the week's tick-chart in advance. 6% range on top two decile vol.

Not fucking possible.

This place used to be awesome. I cringed a bit when I first came here from the newsgroups/Google groups because of the format and the retail mentality, but fell in love with the place.

Now we're left with a few pros that fly in once a month to reply and the remaining 90% is just utter fucking garbage.

This thread. You come into the vol-forum and post this fucking tripe. It's a personal affront to all legitimate traders on this site and should be removed and the space exorcised.

How did you learn about options when you are close to being English illiterate?

This has only happen once before about 2 years ago.

True when you are doing well there is a special feeling that has to be watched. Still I think Monday will be a winner.
