Citrix Systems (CTXS) is seeing unusual action for a second day. Yesterday, heavy call buying was seen in early morning trading, perhaps related to VMWARE (VMW) which was trading sharply higher. Both stocks finished up strongly.

Early in today’s session, our systems detected several aggressive sweep call buyers, including a buy of nearly 1000 May 35 calls for $1.73.

That price was well above the asking price of $1.70 in effect at the start of execution. The action preceded a noticeable spike of nearly $.50 in the stock...

Your right. The 32,000 puts in open interest on the April 30 put strike and today's put volume of 5,000 on the same 30 put strike is far more significant than the 35/40 Call Spread sold.
