According to my stock option scanner, we have someone, some people buying almost 4000 July 25 $53.50 Puts. Historically SWKS does drop after gaping up on great earnings news, these Option traders are looking to pick up a nice scalp. Using the software helped me find situations interesting stocks few people follow. This is only a diary like the "Kick Ass Stock of the Week" is for his stock picks. One of my Brokers shows all the trades that went through their Clearing House. When did the last Put get bought from XYZ Broker?

SWKS Updated, I had put a order in after writing this post with a limit order of $.50 and we got filled at $.40 on 7/23/2014. I added more contracts up to $.50 and carried over to Thursday. Today, I sold the contracts at $.80-$.90, after screwing up on my Facebook trade, I promised to put my order in via Amex at $5.1 which would have opened at $5.60 using the Consolidated opening print, instead i got out at $4.50!
 
BIDU, bought 28 contracts of the $225 Calls, stupid Greedy Me, I could have sold these BIDU contracts at $1.55-$1.60, took 18 out at $1.45 and before the Market sold off dumped the other 10 at Market.

Options volume at one strike means nothing-they could be a hedge against another series,another strike or calls or they could have sold those puts-who the hell knows?
Anyway if you made money well done,but be aware that a trade in one option ios not necessarily a stand alone buy or sell. I'll go one further and ask if you know about pairs trading?
