Unused Limit or Stop Orders...Any Charge at IB?

If you enter a limit or stop order, but the order never actually executes, does IB charge you anything?

And if a limit or stop is never hit...do you have to cancel it for a fee?

Thanks.

No. All IB fees are fully disclosed on the web site.

It depends on what you're trading and how.

Look at http://www.interactivebrokers.com/html/generalAccount/otherFees.html

US Options, and Eurex options and futures have cancellation fees.

There are per-message fees for use of the API (through your own program or some third-party addons) if you don't route using SMART.

Thanks, I meant plain orders of US equities not through API, which apparently don't have a charge. I couldn't find a reference on the site specifically saying there was no charge.
