Great that you posted that attachment and explained yourself.
It is a fact that most of the developers are generally not traders. And even if they trade on side, most likely they are hobby traders. So, they might be trying to improve things, however inadvertently end up making things worse. For example the total volume thing and only the top row changing in T&S instead of the rows getting added.
With your explanation, I hope it will be clearer to IB management on this board why these 2 features are important. Good Day.
this is why i'm proposing a pool here,so we can vote before they make any changes.
meanwhile i'm continuing exploring their new T&S window
the deeper i go-the less sense it makes. how they are able to messed up so many thing at once-beyond me.
here is an example-colors. colors on the screen are default colors.
while my TWS scheme is "classic" this particular window is black for whatever reason. i'm on latest stand alone build and none of the issues i've mentioned here aren't fixed so far. auto resizing for last size column was first in line. actually-roll back all changes would be the best.
now -default color scheme is messed up just as everything else. cause most of the colors are grey on grey or grey on black(keep in mind that this window is not going to save any changes customer might made. every time you open it-everything is set to default.
check it out bid\ask size row on 11:26:11. i can't see anything on it.
look at last trades compared where bis ask prices are. they aren't match at all. you can see last price on trades that are below bid
all over the place.
T&S BUG
So, I discovered this - this is 100% a bug.
Steps to follow to recreate:
1) Open T&S Window. I have seen this bug by opening the window for ES.
2) You will see only top row updates and last price and size data doesn't enter rows that are sliding down. However, NBBO b/a and bsize/asize data updates in each row
3) Right click on T&S -> NBBO B/A Bid and Price Changes -> Display Trades
4) It will show all the trades - however rows will not move. They will become static. Even clicking the refresh button on top right above scroll keys, will not update anything. BUG
5) Right click on T&S -> NBBO B/A Bid and Price Changes -> Display Trades + Changes in Bid/Ask Price + Changes in Bid/Ask Size
6) It will show rows adding to T&S window. However, surprise surprise - the rows will stop adding. BUG
7) Right click on T&S -> NBBO B/A Bid and Price Changes -> Display Trades + Changes in Bid/Ask Price
8) Everything gets screwed up. LOL.
Also - when they rolled out new T&S window, it did not have all these bugs. I remember very well - I used it successfully for around 3-4 weeks and these bugs were not present.
These bugs have started in last 15-20 days. Something has changed in some new release which has affected T&S window.

Seems. I was early.
T&S showing same problems today. Rows are not getting added as new trades happen. I did not close my TWS from yesterday. I close my TWS only once a week. However, I closed T&S yesterday after RTH and opened it today morning and rows were not getting added up.
IB - I hope these 2 comparative screenshots clearly show you the problem. Please rectify.
