Frustrating day, I am getting numerous disconnects, yet not on other platforms. ie IB is the issue. I have written a few good reviews but this is unacceptable. They are having an issue, and while they usually identify it I have gotten no messages currently. Fills have been delayed and prices delayed, that is unacceptable. Quit picking and chosing when to respond to issues.
LOL....Seems Bob you just discovered these bugs because you just upgraded.
This has been my biggest gripe with TWS this update - their T&S.
I personally like the ability to search through T&S by putting in a particular time. What I find really annoying is that only top row updates and other rows are blank. However, this is not consistent behavior. Sometimes, the rows get added, other times they don't.
So, there definitely are bugs.
Def/Dst I encourage you guys to check T&S for yourself and get an updated patched version out asap. Thanks
yeah..i've been only quiet for a while because i was using old 929.
every time i update TWS-you will see a bunch of posts with bugs or unreported changes or glitches or whatever. like i said(and you)-on this simple T&S window-there is so many things that are FBAR-it's beyond me,how they can release crap like this..
not to mention that i see no reason whatsoever to modify previous version of T&S. why they always trying reinvent the wheel? i just don't get it. previous T&S is simple,STANDARD window that does job in most common and easy way. the things that you see in your TWS displayed exactly in same way in T&S,based on time.
how they come up with an idea to get rid of total volume? why? what's wrong with that?
is it easy for you people to see 2.11x2.12 in one row and then 11x1 in another? then why can't you do this with quote window? just to see if customers will be happy about it. let's just f** it up till very end. lets display quotes exactly same way you(IB) displaying them in T&S and see customers reaction.
just try it. imagine that you see following-
2.11x2.12 | 10x1|2.11|1| and trade like this.
oh wait..last is on the middle(just like in your new T&S
so the quote window should look like this:
2.11|1|2.11x2.12 | 10x1|
once again-why reinvent the wheel? roll T&S back where it was before and don't touch it.
you know..if you really have nothing else to do-you can display those quotes in Korean for us. just to keep your programmes busy and make things a bit more complicated for us..why not?
and periodically switch them for fun between native and sino without warning(as you typically do)

here is an example of why total volume column is important. first thing i do before open-i gauge market activity. BY VOLUME traded.
here is example for today:IWM volume posted before market open
633K shares . are those real trades? or just few large,might be "prearranged" trades? open T&S-turns out it's 2 transactions for 300K shares each. so the real premarket volume on IWM is actually 33K(for those,who believe that trading is never been better and there is plenty of liquidity-usual premarket volume on IWM 1-2years ago-4M)
that's just one example why i was using this particular window each and every day and why i don't like any changes on it. i like the way it was before.
