I can watch my wifi indicator, I noticed that I had connection but no internet this evening, likely it's my IP dropping the ball occasionally..
I have a failover router and two IP's but from what I read I cannot use that failover capability because TWS won't log me in upon failover because the ip has changed.. is it possible that I could somehow register two ip addresses so that failover would be doable?

i have it all over the place on multiple accounts and looks like i has nothing to do with internet.
it goes like this-after i got fill via API-if i punch this ticker into TWS last price stops updating. it's stall in TWS and API and not streaming anymore.
disaster in making,cause my stops aren't triggered properly and so exit prices(cause then based on last price)
internet is fine,i tried to update java-didn't help.
i'm only one?
got royally f**d today cause of this on ENMD. my stop never triggered.
looks like restarting TWS does solve the problem,but i can't do this multiple times on middle of the day.
ok, i did update my TWS to a latest build 935.3 and latest java. my usual question to Ib's developers-why you always f**)ok..s**) with original user settings? i mean-are we guilty on something by default or what? is it too hard just to leave us alone and NOT enforce any changes after update?

ok..i did upgraded my stand alone TWS to latest version
first thing i got is this(see file)
why status color is yellow-i have no idea. i use to have subscription to a bonds,but not anymore. if it's disconnected-it's disconnected, it shouldn't affect status color in TWS. now if it's broken-that would be a different story and should be shown in status.
second thing i did after i checked the data status is open chart and pull up T&S. holy s*%$#!
you have to be really creative to screw this simple window this far.
it was absolutely fine for many many years..now it's completely f**d.
first thing first-the usual-settings. T&S opens with some sort of default size and place. you resize it,close it-it's not going to remember last size or position. useless. more clicks for customer-more frustration
second-you try to move columns in attempt to make it looks somewhat close to an old look-not gonna work. you can move the columns,but if you close the window and open it back again-everything back to "default" or original(whatever the right word it)
total volume column(imo -one of the most important ones)is gone for good.
you can't check anymore if premarket volume is real(for example) and it's not couple huge "prearranged" transactions that create appearance of huge volume. no no..you can't see it no more..
why?i don't know and there is no option to add such column either.
why there no option(and i was asking about it many times) to make it look as it was before. you don't like new design of one particular window? add option-"classic". and for rest of the columns-well i have no words for it. the way the data is presented can't be any worse. it's unbelievable how you can screw this up. such simple window,that use to looks great and very informative. now it's completely useless.how did you come up with this? you probably have meetings,discussing the design? i mean..seriously..or you just randomly changing things to create "appearance" of work and make us,the customers more confused and frustrated? hey...this feature looks nice..let's screw it up..we have nothing else to do today..
quotes on my TWS are not updating properly for last 2 weeks. i have restart all my setup multiple times during the day to get rig of those stall quotes. can you leave your "creative design" alone and concentrate on real problems?
PS-it took me less than 1 min to look on T&S and spot problems mentioned above.
but before i post this message-i did come back to it just to double check everything. i spend another 30 seconds looking on T&S and i saw something else(which imo even more retarded than all stuff mentioned above)-when you bring T&S window and see real time-the quotes will change on top of it,but as trades are passed by-the rows aren't added to T&S window. nope..you won't see any changes in it,beside changes on top row of the T&S window.
That is-trades aren't adding up into new rows as they use to
.make it even more useless and makes me think-are those boys are serious? did they really checked anything before release? cause looks like they not.

This is not intended behavior, and we will address it; I would appreciate if you (and other clients) can report such problems directly to our technical assistance team - this is the best escalation path and most of the time your issue will be addressed quicker.

but HOW UNPROFESSIONAL you are,by releasing build after the build every week with bugs that are so obvious?
we aren't playing puzzles or bingo here..our money are on stake. and like i said above-you are not making our lives any easier. you doing EXACT opposite. why?
