looks like TWS bug thread is gone for "whatever" reason..
anyway-i have question to IB-what was the rationale behind idea,that the paper account MUST be run only from same PC? why it cannot be run from PC,sitting on same network\IP address? where is the logic in that? typically(and i guess i'm not alone) if i have to test something(including new builds,their functionality,etc) i do that on separate PC. same for trading systems. i just don't get it..can anyone explain IB's "logic" behind this restriction?

I can only guess it involves cases of people either selling or letting others use their access to market data. I prefer to run mine from in a VM .... nice to know I won't have that option in the future. 
but again-why not allow us to run paper account\ip address on same network,where main account is running? it's obvious,that it's same location,just different PC. i have like 5 of them around me. why i have to test something on my trading PC? makes no sense whatsoever.
SideShowBob-you probably right(or right at least partially),but still-different Pc on same network? why not? wasn't like that before.
at least give us a choice and maybe allow us to do that based on whatever, case by case.

now i'm getting this pop up all the time,until i choose do not display this again checkbox.
Can anyone from IB explain in plain english what this is about?
cause the way it's phased.."required".. "may"..i just don't get it..
if it's required-isn't suppose to be a "MUST", not may or may not?
where can i read more about those "requirements"?

i specially like the last sentence. it's sums up well the current environment we are trading in...-IB cannot guarantee you execution of your own marketable order.mean-if you try to buy at ask or sell at bid that you see -you might not get filled. cause there is might be some one on front of you..cause we are selling them info about your coming order.

I just started getting this tonight too. What a PITA! Every damn trade I'm seeing this now, even when I click "Don't display this message again"
