Not comparable. It doesn't spread by air. Fairly easy to avoid and did we lock down the whole world because of AIDS?

On the other hand, vaccine for flu like viruses are relative easy to make, it just takes time for the safety trials. Hell, they are already doing human trials...

Then you need a new vaccine. However a broad-spectrum antiviral drug like remdesivir, if it works, should be able to handle some mutations and continue to be effective.
