the US economy is booming; his trade war will either help the US and hurt China ( nto a bad thing) or just hurt China. the US is being screwed currently by China so it serves China right. I think those that laughed t him (and they are not world leaders - just UN reps) - will rue the day . Trump is not that stupid

Just looked up UN payments list.
Australia paid the UN, USD 56 805 623 or AU $79 million in 2017.
So that $79 million pa - equal to according to the ATO; all the personal tax paid by individuals in the Mining industry plus Public Health and Safety industry plus Electricity, gas, water & waste services.
Thats a lot of personal tax to give away to the Globalist fat cats who talk abstractions and are citizens of nowhere.

I thought it was a tragedy when he was elected. How wrong I and others were. He is spot on in virtually everything he has tackled to date and is calling it as it is. Long overdue. His biggest problem is his delivery. Personally I prefer someone who has substance and does the job rather than poseurs. When he is finished in America we should invite him to fix Australia!

Having watched the clip, the laughter was clearly from Trump's intentional, humorous quip, "so true". And then the further laughter was from his deft reaction to the first laughter.
This nonsense that leaders were laughing at Trump (i.e. insinuation that the UN thinks he's a joke) belongs on reddit or buzzfeed, not the Oz. He made a joke and got a couple of laughs and this is somehow news?

The UN is overdue for demolition, and The Australian could do with another more reliable correspondent in the USA.

You do realize that the the U.N. is a burden on the city of New York. Trump is very aware of this in view of his history with the city.
Someone asked what "he's instructing Haley to do"? If the clowns at the U.N. are mocking him; I expect that Trump will tell the entire organization to move to somewhere outside the U.S.
