You obviously do not know that the Delta Variant has been targeting younger adults and children because they tend to be the ones Not Vaccinated. Don't ask for data...it has already been posted multiple times here at ET since the Delta Variant has taken root in America involving the exponential increase in Pediatric hospitalization from Covid.
  • In addition, you ignore the fact that most of the Hospitalization, ICU admission, and Deaths are those that are Not Vaccinated here in North America (I'm now talking about young adults). It's a scary statistic that the government has to grapple with because its one of the reasons that can cripple an economic recovery if allowed to go uncheck.
By the way, there are some here that I've seen you agree with in their anti-vaccine messages...they have specifically stated that the Delta Variant has been primarily attacking those that are old, obese, or unhealthy.

That's Covid (Delta Variant) misinformation that people like you have consistently been spreading since the Delta Variant has hit the American population on top of your lack of knowledge about Immunology involving Vaccines.
  • I will reiterate to you, it's your choice to be not vaccinated but be aware that the Delta Variant is targeting younger adults and children that are not vaccinated plus any others that have an underlying medical condition regardless if they're young or old...
The latter is important because 1/3 of the American population thinks they're healthy...they do not know they have an underlying medical condition that can be exploited by Covid Delta Variant.

You should be happy that those around you have been fully vaccinated to help protect your welfare, health, and safety whenever they interact with you in person. If you don't think their vaccination is helping them or you...please ask them to wear a face mask. :sneaky:

The questions I have for you...
  • Do you spend your day debating with your friends in your community that has been vaccinated ???
  • If not, what bothers you so much that causes you to debate with those online that have been vaccinated ???
Seriously, many of us here are fully vaccinated and you need to get over it as in stop taking it personally. As for yourself that wants to remain not vaccinated...that's your choice and hopefully, you never develop a severe Covid illness.
  • Vaccination should only be problematic for those like you that have federal jobs, healthcare worker, or work for a private company that has +100 employees.
Yet, if you do get infected with Covid, just remember only the survival of the fittest (Darwinism) and we can protect children that can not be vaccinated by surrounding them with individuals that are vaccinated.

The more people in the population that are vaccinated...the more protection in the population of those that can not be vaccinated.

For Covid you can assume that this would be an environment in an enclosed small indoor space within 6 feet of each other with no masks for over one half hour-- which would certainly cause an infection to most unvaccinated people without antibody immunity nearly 100% of the time.

Second -- there is a scientific relationship between transmissibility, vaccine efficacy, and breakthrough cases. Generally as a virus evolves to become more transmissible we will see the efficacy of the vaccine go down - this is what we are seeing with Delta. Given a 42% efficacy for a highly infectious disease spread via aerosol then we should expect to see approximately 3% of the vaccinated population have breakthrough cases when they are fully exposed in an environment which would give nearly 100% chance of infection to the unvaccinated without antibodies.

Breakthrough cases exist for all vaccines -- however when a population reaches herd immunity it is very rare for the disease to be prevalent in society hence the lack of transmission even by those susceptible to breakthrough cases if vaccination did not provide necessary anti-body levels (over time).

For example -- 3% of the population in the U.S. is susceptible to mumps since the MMR vaccine did not provide necessary antibody levels to make these individuals immune. Fortunately due to herd immunity across the U.S. population due to high MMR vaccination level -- we rarely see vaccinated breakthrough cases of mumps. Once we reach a high vaccination level for Covid we will see the same situation where breakthrough cases are very rare.

Lol, The truth is the exact opposite. The vast majority of my time is extreme social distanced. I’m very careful if I go around people and with whom I interact.

I doubt very seriously any comments on these anti-vaxxer hate boards have an impact or change anything.
