What's extraordinary is how few knew this was just under the surface though we live with 2% psychopaths, more narcisists and sociopaths and most hardly aware so a few percent of these weirdos not a surprise.

On this issue, Facebook needs to be treated like it was wartime, enough self regulation bullshit as they have proven over and over they are no different from drug dealers, same as the slot machine and gambling business etc.

They also only affect a percentage of the population but who would let them self-regulate?

Across the nation, hospital violence has been a quiet, growing epidemic. While hospitals have hailed nurses and other medical staff as heroes of the pandemic, for decades they have left them vulnerable to abuse and assaults.

Health care workers are at five times greater risk of being injured by violence than employees in any other private sector industry, according to the most recent data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

And the violence is growing. Since 2011, hospitals have seen roughly a 60% increase in the rate of attacks reported against health care workers, labor department numbers show.
