Well FED at 2:00pm is a potential catalyst for bigger move, but no need to move price very far yet if you're getting action in this area, just continue to load up the bus for the move later.
Depends on your meaning of load-up. There is much more out there to SHORT... such as some of the popular shit among millennial investors:

Yeah, not trying to say anything overly complicated. Load up just means getting people on board whether short or long and than squeeze them out. Basically just what goes on, on every single time frame regarding intra-day trading.

SOXL, sso, IWM+ related had some tradable move$; i'm not in most of those now.
Took profits on SSO, sh/\ may or may not get back in both, may not have time to get in LABU + UPRO again
See they loaded the bus, than squeezem out. Not claiming I knew it was long I didn't but I caught some of it.
Stock trading is a game of percentages, as long as your trading system has an edge, over a number of trades, let us say 200 or 500, the number of trades doesn't really matter, you should show a profit. That is how the casinos makes their monies by having the edge over the gambler. Gamblers in the Stockmarket have no clue on what they are doing yet, hoping to become rich just the same. Not going to happen.
I made like 3 Gs today so it was alright.
