Well, you have your cross to bear as well. You have to put up with the fake Canadians here explaining why Canada is superior to others- and are the authority on all things Canadian. No to ask them, they will already be telling you.

There is an expression that probably only people born in Vermont or Maine would understand - in regard to newcomers faking it:

It's one of the things you would always here the old-timers say and you always knew what they meant even though your brain did not.

There is more than one faux-canadian here pretending to be a biscuit.
