I don't like Barack Obama. Although he is the single most powerful man in power, he is not the dictator of the United States.

Blame most of the the Senators, Representatives and the rest of government.

There is little difference between the vast majority of Democrats or Republicans anyhow.

The feds take in a little over $2 Trillion annually in individual and corporate income taxes. Our national debt will double under Obama to $15 Trillion before including the multi-trillion dollar shortfalls in Social Security and Medicare. Some observers report the total national debt is closer to $60 Trillion.

If income taxes doubled we still couldn't keep up with the debt. The only way out is smaller government (not likely) or much higher inflation. Probably double digit for several years.

I think many in the center voted for Barack because they were sick of Bush/Republicans as well as the fact that really Barack was an open canvas to much extent.

Admittedly I almost voted for Barack for that reason. I despised most of the Bush administrations foreign policy, as well as homeland security etc. Homeland security sounds like a commy organization. Not to mention Bush wanting everyone to spend more money to help the economy and to watch and report any suspicious activities by your neighbors. To me, Bush is every bit as Red (if not more so) than Obama.

I think the biggest problem with Obama is his selection of advisors, they are after all the ones who got us into this mess. Yes Obama was in the Senate, but not that long. Yes he has hung around hoodlums and apparent gangsters, but lets be honest, the RNC is not all that much better (if at all). This is my take on things.

I hope it doesn't get as bad as it could, and that Pres. Obama realizes it, and will do the right thing (certainly not counting on it though). What has surprised me is how few people supported Obama and knew nothing about him. I am also surprised by how few people realize the coming collapse. Too many so called Republicans think Pres Obama and the gov't will get us out of this mess.

For the record, I voted for Palen. The only reason I did not vote for Obama was his stance on abortion. My prefered choices would be Ron Paul or Alan Keyes. Both would be GREAT!

As I've said before, we have had 30 years of increased spending and lowered taxes, except when Clinton balanced the budget. Now, it is time to get back to fiscal responsibility. People won't like it when their cushy gov't job is gone or when they have to pay more taxes. But that is the only way to begin to clean up the $11+ trillion dollars of debt that was already on the books when Obama took over. Warren Buffett and Bill Gates have both stated that they were under-taxed during the past 30 years. So, there is some margin to raise taxes. I fully support any efforts to balance the budget by cutting spending and raising taxes that Obama takes, even if I have to pay more.

I'm glad some with "voters remorse" are expressing it... (my 90 year old mother just did it to me Friday with language I cannot repeat on this board!)

The House and the Senate better grow a pair, and grow them fast... the big o's policies need to be stopped across the board. These policies are bad, very bad for all of us who provide jobs for others. If his give-a-ways are fully implemented, all hell is going to break loose when it has to be "taken away" and normal, sound economics take over.

You remorseful voters need to consider the mid term elections with some sound judgment and commitment to American capitalism and rewarding work and responsibility. All our futures are riding on stopping this run away train.

Two trillion in deficit spending in FY09 alone!! Give me a break, we could have been energy independent with that money accelerating nuclear reactor fabrication...
