Unable to short QQQQ?

I was not able to short QQQQ this morning. Does this happen often? It is surprising to me that such a liquid ETF is not shortable.

i am newbie in shorting....

i have never shorted a stock.... shorting is like sell the stock u dont own?

You can buy PSQ or QID for double leveraged short. PSQ looks very illiquid though. I like QID better. Most shorts use QID.
