And the US should kick the UN out of NY. Turn that building into affordable housing for the needy...Turn it into a shopping center... or something. The UN doesn't need to be HQ'd in the USA. Enough!
The UN is a forum in which votes count democratically, where ideological or religious bias and prejudice are suppressed and where opposition to current policy can be voiced and debated.
However, the great irony of the UN is that it welcomes countries where these liberties are ruthlessly suppressed. The shame of the UN is that it gives these countries a say over how democratic nation states behave in certain territories and subject fields.
Its like having organised crime delegates on the police management board.
The UN at the very least should comprise only free democracies.

One night in DC I stopped at a light and this large black fellow pulled up next to me in that huge Lambo 4x4 they made in the early 90s with diplomatic plates. He looked over and grinned at me. He was wearing African cloths and literally had a leopard skin pillbox hat on. Pretty much the coolest thing I've ever seen lol.
