When it comes to major websites such as Google, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, etc --- there is a case to be made under the FCC communications acts that license the "internet" and communications that these media platforms should not censor content on political grounds. I expect that this will play out in court at some point after years of political lobbying and wrangling.
This is very different than owners of a private business not allowing the flying of banners.
