Uk General Election.

Hi All,

This is my first post so thats for taking the time to read.

I would like to learn more about trading the General Election news. I believe there will be some good gains to make from both FX and FTSE but I am not sure what to look for or how to interpret news on the run up.

I made money from Brexit and Trump but I think this was just luck. I'm more interested in education than money this time round.

If you managed to take advantage of Brexit and the Trump election, I would say that it is not luck.
Those days were extremely volatile and you needed a good plan along with sizable stops to withstand it.

I think there are those who trade the news in general, and I would assume they are fundamentally driven while understanding what was factored it or not ( to some degree). maybe you need services like www.tradethenews.com

You are welcome. Also, another suggestion I have is to seek trading platforms that have order functionalities to accommodate accommodate news trading and have server side OCOs.
