Our liberals here in the US feel much the same.Quote from Dragons Teeth:

I can honestly see where one predisposed to be anti gun might find some issues with how it's written. BUT having read it through it several times I think you're being a bit harsh on his compilation of facts and figures. Unless you have knowledge of intentionally written misinformation it seems to me to be a much needed source for many useful and telling statistics. Naturally some people will ignore any and all information that doesn't reinforce their preconceived notions. That's human nature.Yeah its a quote taken from Gun Facts by Guy Smith a fairly badly written and often simplistic guide for those wishing to defend the 2nd, he has endless non-relevant scalpelled quotes
I see, you mean the statement has been proven false or only that it hasn't been proved true to your satisfaction? There is a difference. (at this point without further research I don't know one way or the other)and this one was not proven as fact in regards to officers committing statistical fraud to protect tourism.
Yet it was not liberals that started the erosion of gun rights in the UK it was Conservatives.Quote from Lucrum:

IF only they could successfully disarm the citizens when then could be forced to march and think in lock step with the leftists.
I am predisposed to the dislike of bullet-point factoid formats discussing / defending anything remotely serious.I can honestly see where one predisposed to be anti gun might find some issues with how it's written. Its never been proven to be true and I am inclined to side with the Home Office and police on this one, I believe the original accusation of tampering with the stats came from the Guardian.I see, you mean the statement has been proven false or only that it hasn't been proved true to your satisfaction? Oh I saw that the first time, I was merely pointing out that it's the liberals here that would like to do the same thing.Quote from Dragons Teeth:

Duly noted, although I must say to me a fact is a fact. But I get your point.I am predisposed to the dislike of bullet-point factoid formats discussing / defending anything remotely serious....
