What a stupid argument. The government could plant false evidence any time and lock anyone it desires up. Does it do that? No. Why not?

They've done it plenty of times in other ways--look at all the times the FBI has entrapped people, used informants to get others to take action, etc. When caught, they (and partners in the MSM) dismiss it, minimize coverage, say that kind of thing happened in the 1960s but not now, call those who bring attention to it "conspiracy theorists," etc.
