Actually he did not keep his promise on this.His ban excluded some of the most dangerous Muslims,The Sunnis.Al Queda are Sunni,Isis is Sunni.The Taliban is Sunni.Saudi Arabia is a majority Sunni country that teaches Wahhabism ,one of the most extreme and dangerous forms of The Muslim religion (The Taliban also follows Wahhabism and Wahhabism is one of the 3 Islamic doctrines that make up Isis's ideology. )Saudi Arabia is also the country Osama Bin Laden and most of the 9-11 hijackers came from but Trumps ban doesn't include Saudi Arabia and other Sunni countries like Turkey.If Trump was serious about a Muslim ban for the safety of US citizens shouldn't Saudi Arabia,the country of Bin Laden and the 9-11 terrorists be the 1st on the list? But they are not because the con man has business interest in Saudi Arabia and most of the countries excluded on his Muslim ban list.

Saudi is America's greatest ally in the Middle East. the government , along with UAE, publicy supported Trumps ban on the seven countries, most of which are also under travel restrictions into Saudi.
Almost uniformly the mosques in Saudinow actively preach against al queda and ISIS, and extremism.
