Ueber technology in Wellington?

For some reason, I'm getting latency to Wellington that's as good as my IB connection, and I'm wondering if anybody would be willing to explain that.

Here are some results showing the anomaly:

Mumbai 625ms
Singapore 535ms
Auckland 385ms
Canberra 236ms
Sidney 220ms
Wellington 65ms

I'm worried that the Kiwis are planning an uebertech ueberfall.

The only possibility I can think of is that perhaps Weta Digital (who are based in Wellington) have arranged a high speed link with someone (presumably a movie or effects studio), connected to a server near you (presumably Texas) and somehow you're going along for the ride?

You know, I think (without really knowing what I'm talking about) that's a good possibility. Reason is, my ISP's POP for my connection is in Austin, Texas and Austin has fairly substantial movie industry production activity. Thanks!
