Not true, I know many IT workers taken themselves out of the IT industry because they don't like working with H1Bs. They will milk you dry for info and return nothing but a knife in the back.
Many of us are in startups, and will never hire h1b. We hire Americans, European's and Canadians only. Why do you think all the old cobol code still exist in financial institution and banks. They are full of indians that have no clue how to do analysis and design. However, they may think otherwise. lol

I will agree that there are way too many Indians w/inflated resumes from chit schools coming in through contractor agencies. I've met plenty smart ones while in grad school and am sure there are many more capable ones in India as well, but I work side by side with some that I'm not sure even have the degree they claim to have.

The standards on Education are undoubtedly higher in Canada and Europe, and the Chinese H1B's are pretty capable too, but I'll grant you they're handing out these like nothing to people who are undeserving.

Nope Canadians have L1 and TN visa, I work with many. They acquire their visa for $50 bucks at the border for 3 years. Americans do the same when working in Canada, been there done that. Luv the montreal girly bars

Europes proximity to the Mideast is what makes them challenging. The refugees literally just walked there in the millions. It's trivial to sneak someone in. For the US you have to get on an official US plane or boat.

none of the banned countries have ever sent a citizen who has killed Americans on US soil. However there are other countries that have - but they have Trump Hotels and those citizens haven't been banned.

I hope they make the h1b workers train their American replacements. This is what we had to do when h1b's were hired to displace Americans.
