U.S. State Department: Israel is not a tolerant society

Israel dismally fails the requirements of a tolerant pluralistic society, according to a new report from the U.S. State Department.

Despite boasting religious freedom and protection of all holy sites, Israel falls short in tolerance toward minorities, equal treatment of ethnic groups, openness toward various streams within society, and respect for holy and other sites.

The comprehensive report, written by the State Department's Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor, says Israel discriminates against groups including Muslims, Jehova's Witnesses, Reform Jews, Christians, women and Bedouin.




The report says that the 1967 law on the protection of holy places refers to all religious groups in the country, including in Jerusalem, but "the government implements regulations only for Jewish sites. Non-Jewish holy sites do not enjoy legal protection under it because the government does not recognize them as official holy sites."

At the end of 2008, for example, all of the 137 officially recognized holy sites were Jewish. Moreover, Israel issued regulations for the identification, preservation and guarding of Jewish sites only. Many Christian and Muslim sites are said to be neglected, inaccessible or at risk of exploitation by real estate entrepreneurs and local authorities.

The report makes it clear that practices that have become routine in Israel are considered unacceptable in enlightened countries and should be corrected.

Among other examples, the report notes that more than 300,000 immigrants who are not considered Jewish under rabbinical law are not allowed to marry and divorce in Israel or be buried in Jewish cemeteries.

Israel committed a shoah on Palestinians. Those who could ran from to save their lifes, they are now refugees all of the world. Those who did not ran fast enough, or could not escape, they were murdered. The few that left were helpers, and also some have to be kept to say they did not kill everyone.

In addition, the proof that they did not flee because they wanted to leave as zionist lies want you to believe, is that they want to go back and have also maintained so since day one as evidenced in UN records. Israel's not allowing the return, is PROOF that they murdered Pals and committed violence and threats against them so that they leave.

Israel state is thief state. They stole the land of Palestians. They have to return it, and they will one day. In addition, they have to compensate for theft, lost property, crimes, and serve crime time for those still alive.

Most of the Palestinian "refugees" fled on their own duped by the promises to be back in two weeks with victorious arab armies. They were NOT resettled by their palestinian brethren in other 23 arab states.

Meanwhile 800,000 to 1,000,000 Jews were either forced from their homes or left the Arab countries from 1948 until the early 1970s. The Jews of Egypt and Libya were expelled while those of Iraq, Yemen, Syria, Lebanon and North Africa left as a result of physical and political insecurity. Most were forced to abandon their property. Most of them were resettled in Israel without a single penny from International refugee organizations.

Deal with it idiots. The "refugees" are not coming back to Israel and until you get it through your thick stupid heads the Pals are not getting their own state either.

Israel has peace and prosperity today, they don't need a useless piece of paper signed by Abbas or Hamas or any other Islamo-Nazi idiot. And if several more generations of Pals waste their stupid empty lives on stone throwing and whining on the internets about bad evil Israel - who gives a shit.

1. All people know that Pals will be back at sometime in the future. Everyone agrees that it is their right to return to where they were born, and where their ancesters were born. It is when, and not if.

2. Israel would drool to have that piece of paper signed, because they know that without it they are not legitimate. You asked "who gives a shit", well you do. Just look at the efforts you spend in here trying to delegitimize Pals---You give more than "shit".

And no, the Pals are not coming back. They may get their own state if they behave and if they are lucky. Or they may become part of Jordan where they belong.
