Lots of these threads are coming up on ET. It amuses me as to how many of you underrate your enemy (Obama). It is foolish to not respect your enemy. For as much as many of you talk badly about Obama, the man made his way into the Oval Office. Think about it. And now, so many of you are so certain that he will not be reelected. Of course they know. Have you noticed that deduction from your paycheck for for Social Security (FICA) and the newer one for Medicare? Both of which are going broke and will need even more from you. Now you''ll have a brand new one. They like it when they can get together and add a new tax to you (and me) and throw it in our face.
For those out of college and can't find a job, go to work for Uncle Sam. This bill will add layers of new bureaucracies and new federal employees. Besides the average federal worker makes over $71,000 yearly vs. only around $40,000 for the average private sector employee. Plus government workers get 10 paid holidays, a monstrous pension and many other benefits that aren't afforded most private sector employees.

SouthAmerica: After I saw the above posting on this thread I decided to check some of your postings on this forum to see what kind of mind was behind this insult, and after reading some of your postings I realized that there is not much there.

Would someone care to share what the "reform" is? I see a bonanza for the insurance industry, higher taxes for all, more government control of our everyday lives and a lower quality of care coming as a result of this bill. What I don't see is any reform.
