Corn is not getting planted on time due to extreme wet weather. Fertilizer didn't get put on timely in the fall so it makes it easier for farmers to switch to soybeans now....stay tuned. Don't be surprised of some acreage switching to beans, soon.
Is there a data, on how many, in % , of farms, ( with their land size included ) delayed that ?Corn is not getting planted on time due to extreme wet weather. Fertilizer didn't get put on timely in the fall so it makes it easier for farmers to switch to soybeans now....stay tuned. Don't be surprised of some acreage switching to beans, soon.
The USDA will issue a report that shows planted acres i believe on June 30th. My bias is that we are too wet to get the projected 92 million acres planted which is the number they announced in the March 29 2019 planting intentions report. Here's a link to an article about the planting intentions report. https://www.bakingbusiness.com/arti...-to-plant-4-more-corn-5-less-soybeans-in-2019
So that would seem to indicate to go long ZS.
