I misspoke, thank you for correcting me. And it is . . . hmm. . . it is with sadness that I see that real people from other countries died as well. I do not wish civilized people anywhere death. Still, somehow there is just a bud of hope that perhaps there are more civilized folks than I had thought.

Anyway, the point I wanted to make was about the protests. I should have spelled that out better and I did not. But it is nice that we have this link in the thread, those Libyans just might be heroes! If they really are, it'd be nice to see some warmth from the US shown to them and theirs, even though it would help The One's reelection.

But what I was really asking about was the protests! Man, if they really are going to town in pro-American fashion, HOLY SHIITE! That's be something to see in pictures.

You quite simply have reading comprehension problems to the point of absurdity.Defending American soil is not a knee jerk reaction nor is it an improper response at risk of causing a 10 year war.

My solution would stop all but state sponsored invasions.
After repelling a first attack , if one is worried about proper defense causing a war, reinforcements can be sent to evacuate the whole contingency .

No need to buy into this ridiculous notion of you break it you buy it .

Leave seal team six at home all you will provide is another blackhawk down opportunity for the enemy.

Seal team six should be reserved for assassination of the planners at our time /place advantage.

Anything else gives opportunity to the enemy not us.
