I wonder what the chart would look like if we kept using Tree rings to predict what the temperature was in the last 100 years. Im not a climate scientist, but it's hard to believe you can tell what the average temperature was in any given year to a fraction of a degree by looking at tree rings.

It's not hard at all. Less tree ring gap, less growth, less water, more drought, higher temps.

I didn't say I don't know how it works. I was saying how can you tell to within a fraction of a degree. Could a scientist tell me what the average temperature was in 1993 by looking at tree rings to within 1/10th of a degree. I'd love to see him try.

A nice little article from 1989. They said we only have 10 years to do something before its out of human control. It's been 30 years so I guess we can't do anything about it, so no more need to discuss it. It's going to happen or it isn't.


Spoiler alert: It isn't.

But there is a consensus, and thats really all that matters.
