No white person now living in America has ever owned a slave. No black now living in America has ever been a slave. And since when is a person responsible for something his great-great-grandfather may have done?? Just whining for even MORE freebies.

What a load of bilge.

I say that if blacks feel like they haven't been given enough freebies already, they are free to catch the next boat back to Africa.

I'm for reparations and I'll tell you why. It's just a matter of basic fairness and equity and justice. Aggrieved parties should be compensated.

And that's why I think white people should be awarded a sum of money commensurate with what they've had to put up with for the last fifty years. The level of crime by blacks has gone parabolic and made cities where blacks live to be somewhere between dangerous and no-go zones for whites for far too long. Whites should be compensated for this gross injustice and awarded a sum that a blue ribbon panel of economists calculate represents the harm that has been inflicted upon them.

This has nothing to do with the fact that I'm white. It's just that we need to do this for fairness. For the children.

May be the US could be the first country to create a "world competition of victimisation".
In one country one comic suggested so, he is now ready for jail time. Just by the sounds, one can guess who are "competing" for the world championship in complaining.

( time to learn some foreign languages mates).

How could that work? Wouldn't we have to raise taxes on the whites in order to have money to pay reparations to whites? Nanni? Blacks wouldn't be paying reparations, as "didn-do-nuffins" don't pay no taxes.... they just collect bennies.... all the while pissn'-and-moanin' that it's somehow unfair that their bennies aren't even MORE generous... but that's a different story.

This comic actually suggested so:
to create a championship of "suffering" where any person could present the grievances by group or individually and win a first prize for suffering, like in the Olympics. The first prize was substantial ( more than millions) . Unfortunately the first country this was to take place, got people to gang against those suggesting such Olympic competitions of "suffering". This is a shame, as may be it is time for everybody to be allowed to voice their complaints and be handsomely rewarded for unbearable suffering!lol

The War on Poverty (22 Trillion and counting)
Affirmative Action
Welfare
Public Housing
Medicaid
EBT cards
WIC program

I'm sure there are others
 
This is why creating this type of worldwide championship of complaining should be pushed forward, instead of making life difficult for those who came up with such ideas.
People can put out their claims, and those can be weigthed down. A championship would be the most open, and fair way to deal with all the professional complainers of unbearable suffering. Also, putting in some substantial prizes, would motivate all the people with grievancies to come forward and deal with the complaints once for all.
 
I actually should explain better the world championship of victimisation.

It was proposed to be a worldwide competition where anybody who had grievancies individually or in groups could compete for substantial amount of financial compensation. The idea was if anough interest took off, the compensation per winning complainer could reach hundreds of millions of $ per winning "athlet in professional whining".
It was proposed that the competition took place annually, so that any whiner could have the time and various opportunities to search, document its case, etc. Really making it easy for whiners to come forward.
Then the whiners were to go through elimination stages, like the Olympics, putting forward real hard facts. The comic pointed out some facts ( such as Indians in Americans all wiped out, 6 million Jews deaths during the holocaust, Aborigens in Australia roughly wiped out, Palestinians refugees, etc). It was for each whiners to put their grievances forward, their arguments and for the competing people to challenge these whiners.

Unfortunately, the comic and his team ( made of one Jew, one Nazi, one black, one yellow) got people to gang up against their idea. If you Americans could get this thing off the ground, that would be a gift for all. And many people would thank you for that : professional whiners are a real pain.

That was my reaction too. How many trillions more are we obligated to piss away? I guess the answer is however many it takes to keep getting democrats elected.
