The fall indicated by i-ii-iii-iv-v is a text book example of a five wave impulse wave which shows the larger trend will be downwards. Also the correction that started from the end of wave v is a three wave correction an a-b-c correction ending in the area of the previous wave iv. All this shows a high probability that the next move is going to be on the downside.

What time frame is this chart? I am looking at the daily chart using stockcharts.com over a 6 month period. It is totally different and bullish. The shorter the time frame, the more unreliable it is as to trends unless you are merely day trading. The deal will take time to be fully realized, including, passing regulatory hurdles measured in months probably but, does not mean it is dead. Your assumption is likely, to be wrong.

That is only good for day trading yet, you are applying it to a time period covering months? Yeah, that makes perfect sense.

Let us see in 6 months, deal might be done sooner. There is also, a penalty of $1 billion dollars if either Musk or Twitter back out of the deal.
